Inspired by a 14C manuscript and (very) loosely based on the famous version in the Book of Kells, this Chi-Rho stained glass panel is made from silky blue-green water glass and deep bristol blue. The background is a mix of clear upcycled textured salvage glass.
The chi-rho is an early christogram or sigla, made by merging two Greek letters. It was common in medieval manuscripts.
Approximate size is about A4 (21x29cm or 8.25×11.5″).
