Stained glass 12: butterfly lamp assembled

It's been a long time coming. I spent a day soldering and it's still not quite finished. The soldering on the seams is pretty raggedy. I am pleased to have got it one stage closer to the end. That's the good news. The bad news is that ir is way too big and heavy to hang from the ceiling. This is my first lamp and I neglected a major step in the design: making a model. (I also decided about halfway through that I wanted the ceilling lamp to face upwards, hiding the bulb, not dangling like a pendant. But the design is the wrong way around for that. Doh!)

So, after tidying up the seams, the next step is to carry it to the lamp shop to get a base for it. You didn.t think after all that work I was going to abandon it? No. It's becoming a table lamp. Picture coming soon.
