Stained glass 06: Celtic horse

This has turned into a ‘Friday the 13th’ sort of piece. It seems like everything that could go wrong has gone belly-up. I’m not sure why, other than the big, curvy sections were incredibly difficult to cut. I cut the purple bit under the belly way too short. Then the outside right section (near the horse’s nose) broke badly. Ran out of purple. I know that the blessings of solder can’t mend the missing purple but hopefully it will cover it up the broken piece under the nose. Also managed to lose the tiny blue piece that completes the curve under the left rear hoof. Never mind, there is LOTS of blue scrap in the bin after all the disastrous attempts at cutting the main spiral. I’m tempted to give up on the blue spiral altogether and just put the horse together as a suncatcher, but I’ve got a workshop tonight and hopefully the brilliant Caroline can help me sort it.
