Been sort of obsessed with hares and rabbits for awhile. Kept seeing the three hares in a circle (three hares, each with two ears but only three ears between them). It possibly represents a Celtic triad but more likely a fertility symbol. First I went to a workshop to make a medieval terracotta tile and was surprised to see the pattern there, too. After making a tile, then decided it would make a good stained glass panel. Many sketches later, here’s the result – Three Hares Dancing Around the Moon in stained glass.
