This Green Man stained glass panel isĀ original and unique. It incorporates many shades of green and confetti glass in the foliage. Blue glass symbolises the sky and water.

The Green Man, Wodwose, or “wild man of the woods” is common to many cultures. Think of fauns and satyrs in Greek and Roman mythology. His history stretches as far back as Enkidu in the Epic of Gilgamesh. Green Men are carved in many variations. Despite their pagan origins, Christian churches and secular buildings often contain ornamental green men (and women!)

The panel measures approx 26x26cm (about 10.25 x 10.25″)
